The hotel is very nice and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, however we must single out Xavier in the Sheridan Bar who was excellent and made the time spent there very enjoyable. The only minor criticism we had which is primarily targetted at the company rather than those running the hotel is that given the prices in the Restaurant we would have expected a higher standard of food eg homemade chips rather than what appeared to be frozen ones.

Very cold room to begin with and reception would not answer the phone for 20 minutes to resolve! Also breakfast was poor, hard bacon and much too hard fried bread, also no butter available. I know these are minor things but when you’re paying so much you expect everything to be spot on

One night break with spa. The let down was the spa. Small area, rushed treatmenti though It states massage but the treatment was basically a rub down, its not a massage at all its a tickle. I had the body scrub and the back massage. It should state back tickle as it was not a massage. My husband experienced the same and we have been to a lot of massage places and this by far was the worst. We also found the staff we had to be rude. But we didnt let this dull are stay. The meal was great and breakfast all staff polite and smiley. the young lad in the sheridan suite is a credit to the hotel. There was a weeding fair on the day we went home we had a lovely time looking at the elegant rooms and the garden area. It is beautiful. I would stay again but would not bother with the spa.

Came over to the uk to catch up with family and used Crewe hall as a base . I want to make a big shout out to all the staff that have made our stay perfect . Breakfast team was -Tony , Alice , Donna , Gavin, Jack and Rob Dinner team were - Will , Emily, Lauren,Jamie , Wictor, Eli and Ted . All of these beautiful people went above and beyond to make our stay just awesome .

The room was spotless I couldn't fault it, all the staff were lovely, the spar was great, I was a bit disappointed with my evening meal the mushrooms risotto was dry and the Parmesan chip were sliced in large pieces, I'm not sure they should have been like that

Another amazing experience!This was our 11th year of visiting ( ive actually been already this year with another group of friends in May) From original booking with Dawn, always so positive helpful and welcoming, to the surprise bottle of fizz from the management for our 60th birthdays, it was fabulous. As always the treatments never disappoint ! Wonderful back and leg massage from Beth then facial on day two. We did the Q hotels 2 day spa break . Im a breakaway member so nice to get the extra 10% discount. The food amazing the lamb rump with dauphenoise and seasonal veg was so good we had it on both nights. And the breakfasts are the best the range of food is great & thanks to the lovely chef who made our poached eggs to order both days. The best place to celebrate all 3 of us being 60 & 40 years of friendship. We will be back ♥️

Great building..lots of History Stayed in the modern wing Nice big well appointed rooms . Great bathroom which featured a walk in shower and a separate bathtub Room service was good although menu is a little restricted Room decor is very good..clean and tasteful although there were a couple of small things that needed maintenance. Not expensive Overall a good experience and I would definitely stay here again

Fabulous hotel, Gothic building just gorgeous architecture. Perfect Avenue of trees on the driveway. Reception staff were so helpful & welcoming, helped us with our things as we upgraded our room to The Royal Suite, extremely clean & comfortable. The Suite was amazing I felt I had been transported back in time. Its full of many different rooms I particularly love the library. Loads of hot water, plus windows that actually opened more than an inch.. The food was very tasty, not an extensive menu, food was cooked fresh & was delicious. Breakfast was buffet style there was an abundance of things to choose, all hot, plus you could ask for a different egg. Staff all very pleasant & friendly. Had a couple of drinks in the bar, a nice selection of drinks, although there was no draft beer on, good selection of bottles though. It really was a pleasent stay, we didnt use the spa as I had been before, I do think its more leisure facilities as its not very big. We would come back again. Well do to all of the team.

Today myself and family enjoyed a latte in the main house bar area. The environment was warm, friendly and inviting. We were served by Clare who was lovely, great customer service and a pleasure to be served by. We look forward to returning and highly recommend a visit to all. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Well the whole experience was fantastic nothing was too much for the trouble for the staff to and as a disabled adult in a wheel the accomodation was perfect

Amazing building and really friendly, helpful staff. Only main downside was we booked a room in the modern wing of the building but found it still rather dated. Carpet was badly patchy and there was still lots of dust in the room. One of our lamps didn't work but not a big deal as lots of other lights in the room. The bed was really comfy and big. We asked for a cot in the room which was there but we were slightly delayed checking in as room wasn't ready, which makes me think maybe this was forgotten but again nothing major. There wasn't a mattress just a bed duvet cover folded up in the travel cot which wasn't comfortable at all for our baby. If we would have known we would have brought our own. Pool was great with child friendly times but really nice and clean. There was only a lock on the men's changing room not the women's which I found odd. Surely the women's are deserving of this too if not more so than the men's. Food was good but drinks very expensive if you are having a few, you are talking £100ish for 4 drinks or so if you are having the likes of an Aperol Spritz or cocktail. Breakfast selection was good which was hot buffet as well as continental. We ate in main restaurant for dinner on a Saturday night but it was very quiet. They only had 2 high chairs and one collapsed slightly when we put our baby in (it was the multi coloured one) luckily they had an alternative wooden one which was good. There was a wedding on the day we arrived so some of the communal areas were not accessible which was a shame, but we managed to get a quick look the following day before the next wedding arrived. There is a little baby changing room in the main building, so when we were in the bar area I went there. It is within the women's toilet but this was locked - quite frustrating when your juggling a baby, nappy bag and have to head right back to reception to ask them to open it so I didnt end up using it. Overall the main reason for our stay was the pool for the baby and the grounds etc which both were lovely, just based on a few things I feel the cost was a little too high.

A beautiful building giving us a relaxing night with excellent food. Room was outstanding and the old bar amazing room.

Sincere apologies for the delay in contacting you I stayed at your hotel from the 1st to the 3rd of October I had a wonderful stay at Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa. What a beautiful hotel and an absolutely amazing historic building, full of character and charm. It really is a special place to stay. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make me feel welcome, comfortable and completely at home. Their kindness and hospitality really made a difference and made my stay even more enjoyable. One member of staff went ouy of her way to make me feel at home as soon as i arrived Claire Casey. In fact all the female staff were friendly and so welcoming the gardener was very informative about the history of tbe building and so friendly. A beautiful hotel, wonderful surroundings and amazing staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely love to return. Your sincerely Gail Tebbutt (A very satisfied customer)
