Great meal
Lovely meal this evening. Our waitress Lauren was so lovely, polite and attentive.
Gorgeous stay!
Wow! This place is so incredibly beautiful. Driving up, walking into the lobby, it is all so breathtakingly lovely. Lorraine and Phoebe greeted us at the reception desk and they were both so kind and warm. They surprised us by letting us know we were the guests of the day! And we had free drinks in the bar, which was great. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and exploring the different rooms. We had a delicious dinner in the brasserie. Highly recommend you stop here and check it out.
Fabulous spa facilities!
A beautiful hotel and gorgeous spa! The room was a great size and beds really comfy. We went on a one night spa break and the spa facilities themselves were fabulous! Great size pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. We were able to laze outside in the sun as well. Our stay included a treatment - not the greatest massage I’ve ever had and it definitely wasn’t the 50 mins I’d booked, but still relaxing. The majority of staff were really friendly but the restaurant staff were exceptional - so friendly and welcoming. The food was also delicious. All in a great place to go for a one night spa break, we’d go back again!
Lovely hotel and staff
A last minute booking and we were not disappointed by the driveway approach and fabulous surroundings of the hotel. A warm welcome at reception and a spacious clean and well equipped room kept clean by Brandon! The spa experience was fantastic and staff at the Brasserie were really professional, helpful and efficient at every serving.
Last minute booking
We had a Deluxe King Room upstairs in the modern block. The room was fine and spotlessly clean. It was quiet and there were owls in the trees outside, which was lovely to hear. All the staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. Melissa and Madison looked after us in the bar and on the terrace until check in time. Dinner and breakfast were good although my poached eggs were overcooked. Think chef had forgotten them. It was a last minute booking and we thought it was quite expensive compared to some of the other Q Hotels we had stayed in.
Kardan coach holiday
The staff were helpful and always available, the staff in the restaurant, Grace,Lauren, Jamie, Libby and Alfie were very attentive and accommodated the requests of the guests always with a smile. Rooms and facilities were excellent. Hotel spotlessly clean throughout.
A birthday treat
Really welcoming staff in spa. Showed us around and explained everything. The massage was fantastic, I felt so relaxed afterwards. Then we went for lunch. The waitress, Donna was lovely and handed me a plate with happy birthday written in chocolate, such a lovely touch. Will definitely think of going again.
Well worth a visit
A wonderful experience with superb food and friendly and attentive service. While only young, Lauren is a credit to the Crewe Arms famil
A lovely stay away
My husband and I visited here for our wedding anniversary for a long weekend. We stayed in a suite in the original building. It was characterful and had a lovely four poster bed. There were some original features which added to the atmosphere e.g., an original desk. However, it was quite a warm weekend and there was no air conditioning which made sleep quite uncomfortable at times as there was also a very heavy duvet on the bed. The quality of the food was really good and the service was good. The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast on the second morning was better as we were able to order items from the menu. We had an afternoon tea which was enjoyable. In most places you are offered refills of tea and coffee, alongside food. However, we didn’t get that here which was disappointing. The gym was good and had a wide range of equipment. Overall, we had a lovely time but the older rooms need to have air conditioning with this warmer climate.
Not a great first time at Crewe hall
Not the hotel I thought it was unfortunately. The sink plug didn’t work in our room. The cold water tap was running hot for about half an hour until it then came through as cold. The receptionist didn’t tell us where the breakfast was in the morning, the timings of it or check out time. Room was very very dated and then bed lent to one side and I woke up with 4 bites on my legs…we were mislead with the price of the room also. Over £100 in the end, in my opinion the room was definitely not worth that unfortunately.
Absolutely fabulous!
Fabulous setting, warm & welcoming in the spa and the restaurant where we had afternoon tea. Melissa and her colleagues were great, nothing too much.
Cannot recommend enough! I'll be back
Absolutely stunning venue The drinks were perfect The food smells amazing Truffle fries were incredible Cannot recommend this venue enough, the staff would brilliant. Have made the experience very special Melissa and Casey were absolutely spot on and real credit to the business Will 100% be back again
Great service
Stayed here for 2 weeks. The service was excellent and it’s always nice seeing friendly people with a positive attitude serving me. Jamie looked after us at the bar, young lad with a lot of spirit. Would recommend this place to anyone.
perfect, would come again
Had an amazing stay here, Jamie working the restaurant was an amazing lad and customer service was top tier.
Afternoon Tea
Amazing place, had a business meeting and had afternoon tea, staff were very friendly and the food was great
Thank you for our well needed break!
Really enjoy our relaxing break. Just what we needed! A lovey location and the main house is beautiful. The staff were very kind and attentive and the food was excellent. It was busy at breakfast so we always went early
Beautiful place to stay
We stayed as a couple in August. Just a basic double room, but we were very happy. Have paid more for premier inns than we paid for this last minute stay. The building is stunning. So full of character. You must look around and appreciate the fine carvings, fire place, chapel, grounds etc. Our bedroom was large, and was furnished to suit the style of the building. Not new and modern, but functional, with character. Very clean and in keeping with the room. We had a fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, trouser press, iron, hair dryer, and a welcome bar of chocolate and bath robes. There was no air conditioning but we had 2 tower fans. It was 24© upon arrival, but with the window open all night the temperature had dropped to 20© by morning. The en suite was enormous with both a bath and a large shower. (We didn't use as showered in the spa). Also spotlessly clean. The king-size bed was comfy and we both had an excellent night's sleep. We used the spa / pool twice. Very clean, in excellent condition with everything working as it should. The steam room was especially hot and steamy. Also had a sauna, hot beds, jacuzzi , experience shower and ice fountain. It was quiet both times. Breakfast was exceptional as hotel buffets go. A huge selection of pasties, and fruit juices, plus everything else you could normally expect. A full selection of teas. There is a separate free-from section including most plant milks, and a large selection of GF cereals and granola, different breads, GF waffles and more. Also a GF toaster. The food we were served at dinner was delicious and freshly cooked to perfection by the chef. I had fish and my husband had a pie. Service was very slow, because the staff were run off their feet but the food was worth the wait. There is a games room with books, puzzles and games that you can borrow. Ideal for kids (and adults) We had a lovely spa night away and considered it excellent value and a privilege to explore such a historic building. It's worth noting that there are LOTS of stairs in this building, and although there are lifts you still need to walk up and down small flights of stairs to access rooms. If you have limited mobility or a pushchair I'd recommend calling a head to discuss being allocated a more suitable room. There was plenty of car parking and a large amount of electric charging spaces too.
Well worth a visit!
We came here for two nights for a friends wedding. The building has fantastic character! The staff were friendly, Food was great! The room was lovely and not any more expensive than a premier inn. Probably cheaper!! The gym and pool were an added bonus too! We had a fantastic time!
Spacious and interesting.
A family room ( West Wing annex ). Built and finished to high specification and wall carpeted lift . Nicely spacious and quiet with bath . Stayed 2 nights on a Travel zoo offer . Beds comfortable but heavy winter duvet on a hot August ! Creaky noisy cupboard doors were irritating. No controls or information on the Air-con . The washbasin plug did not totally stop the water from exiting the bowl. A common tale now the old fashioned plug and chain has been abandoned. Dinner in the up market restaurant was excellent. The usual english breakfast buffet . The long private drive to the hall has two lethal unfriendly bump bars . A huge surprise when covered in snow I imagine and unpleasant the rest of the time . Swim pool and other facilities splendid .Most close car parking spaces reserved for electric car charging.
Lovely two night break
Stopped off here en route driving home. Spa is lovely, lots of amenities- steam/ sauna/ whirlpool/ swim pool/ experience shower and Ioved there were set times for children. Breakfast included was one of the best had. Dinner in the restaurant nice but menu a little limited and pricey so we ate out the second night. Drinks reasonably priced. Staff all around the hotel were so helpful, pleasant and smiley. Room was comfortable. We really liked exploring the old part of the hotel and the vibe of the Sheridan bar. Architecture was amazing. The only negative was the uncouth language of the mid week wedding party as we enjoyed a drink out the front but that is beyond the hotel’s control.
