Birthday night away
Amazing from start to finish - staff were so lovely and welcoming - rooms were lovely - would definitely recommend and will definitely be back
Beautiful Surroundings, exceptional staff, amazing location
We came here with the intention of staying for 2 nights and ended up being here for 5! The overall experience was phenomenal, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and had an incredible intuitive ability to notice all the small things that make the difference between a good experience and a fantastic experience. Particular mentions go to: Dawn, Ellie, Mel, Magdalena, Jess and Matilda. They absolutely made the place feel like home for us. In summary, the fact that we came for 2 days and stayed for 5 speaks volumes. We will be back!!
Fantastic Hetel
Superb hotel, as well as a fantastic setting and location. First time we have stayed at the hotel and we will definitely be back.
Truely beautiful place!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff are amazing and did everything they could to make sure we that we had a fabulous time. We stayed in a feature four poster bedroom which was beautiful and had everything that we needed. We had booked a package with dinner included and felt that was great value. The dinner was amazing and the atmosphere at dinner was very relaxed. We also had a picnic provided by the hotel which was a real treat. This hotel is one of my very favourites in the country, I would highly recommend a visit.
A lovely place to stay
We enjoyed our anniversary stay at Crewe Hall as we have been here on multiple occasions. Our 4-poster bedroom in the old hall was lovely and the extra touches during our stay made it feel special. The only area we think could’ve been improved is the outside space. The cushions could’ve been put out onto the patio furniture to make it more inviting for guests to sit outside especially as it was a very hot bank holiday weekend. Also, the spa outside space could be made more of a feature - a few plants wouldn’t go amiss. It’s those touches that would just give it even more appeal.
I love this hotel
I absolutely love this hotel, the rooms are a great size and the hotel has a really lovely feel to it. I travel a lot with my work and everyone made me feel at home and treated me very well, the breakfast is really good and the room service I got was amazing. In the evening I went to the pool, sauna and steam room and all of these were great! I could not fault the hotel and will definitely be coming back with my partner on a personal trip. Thank you Crewe Hall
Bar
Casey is excellent. She is very helpful and has a very welcoming smile.
Great one night stay!
Enjoyed a classic standard room for one night, it was well designed, modern and spacious. Good linen and very quiet. I would have liked more coffee sachets in room, as I had to hunt some down... ( silent mini fridge a definite bonus). Lovely grounds and building. Swimming pool and spa very nice ( we didn't have a treatment). Staff all very nice. My only minor moan was I felt the restaurant lacked staff, it was very busy (it wasn't a weekend) and although the ones working were very efficient, it felt like were juggling too many tables at once. We say ( from a distance a wedding) so lovely venue for that. The small bar near reception had limited on tap ( just larger) and bottles for drinks however the other bar ( were we have breakfast / evening meal) had a better selection... The place is quite special and we would like to try others in this chain.
Amazing location stunning old part of hotel simply fantastic
Amazing old and new together fantastic hotel and staff are simply amazing freindly helpful polite and Tony and all the team couldn't do enough for my 53 National trust passagers. Food for some was hit and miss but want do you expect cooking for 54 people in one go am use to it. Only thing I would say maybe serve a table at a time and on preorders have a table number as people in a group on a table like to eat together as they feel rude eating while others are still waiting to be served. Tony driver
Beautiful setting.
First stay at Crewe Hall and was impressed by the environment and service. My room was upgraded and although a little traditional it was very spacious and comfortable. I had something to eat in the bar and was served by Connor who was very polite and a credit to the team. I also appreciated the items in the free minibar. I will definitely stop again.
Sheridan bar
I joined friends for the evening on Wednesday 3rd and we were served in the Sheridan bar by Connor. What a lovely man. A real credit to your company.
Welcoming staff - especially Tony
Came for breakfast and wow what a lovely environment, setting, food and more importantly fantastic attentive staff, especially Tony, who was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back.
Fabulous Experience
What a fabulous experience! The Old Hall is like a NT stately home - the modern West Wing compliments it well so you get the best of both worlds. The staff were wonderful, particular thanks to Donna in the Brasserie who made us feel really welcome. Don't be put off by thinking 'what is there to do around there' - you can easily spend at least half a day in any of the lovely Cheshire towns and villages (eg Sandbach) within a twenty minute drive. That's if you can drag yourself away from the gardens, pool, gym and architecture! We've stayed in quite a few Qhotels (we're pensioners on a budget, looking for value) and never thought we could beat Slayley Hall but.....
Amazing birthday treat!
This year my birthday was made memorable by staying at Crewe Hall with my husband for 2 nights. We had booked a 4 poster room in the old mansion. Room 4 was spacious, had a free mini bar which was replenished daily , a bath and a shower and in a peaceful location overlooking the garden6at the rear of the property. All the staff were friendly and welcoming especially Melanie and Tony. Mel served our afternoon tea and offered to take pics of us. The afternoon tea was delicious. Freshly made sandwiches, scones and dainty cakes. Everything was just perfect. The reception staff were very helpful too! As it was a Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May it was v6busy at breakfast. 5 out of 6 coffee machines had broken down so there were queues for coffee. Guests were queuing to be seated. Breakfast consisted of quality hot food and a cold buffet. Dinner was good but small portions and the desserts were mainly bought in which was disappointing. My banoffee cheesecake tasted synthetic and I left it. The spa was very good but the jacuzzi was small. It was perfect for 2 but overcrowded with 4 people. Despite this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the important aspects were spot on!
Sheridan Bar
Took my friend to the Sheridan bar on the 7th of June, and I would like to say the service that was given to us by Mel and casey, was absolutely outstanding. Definitely will come again soon.
Grace was very professional but very friendly and approachable. Tony was very organized
Lovely, accessible hotel with a bonus of being able to view the grand Crewe Hotel on site. We didn't use the spa as we had limited time, but it did look fabulous. The restaurant and food was excellent. The staff were welcoming and efficient despite being very busy.
Beautiful surroundings, excellent amenities, great customer service. Value for money.
Beautiful building, lovely extension. Plenty of parking. Very green surroundings. Food was superb as were the wines. Customer service was excellent and it was excellent value for money. I will definitely be returning.
Great coffee experience
Great coffee experience in the Sheridan Lounge. Served by the wonderful Mellissa and Casey ☕️😊
A lovely surprise at Sheridan Bar
Lovely experience at Sheridan Bar at Crewe Hall Hotel. I ordered champagne and asked if they had any cake or something sweet — initially they didn’t, but the staff came back shortly after to let me know they could serve me a cheesecake after all. A small but thoughtful gesture that made the visit memorable. Great service!
Relaxing and enjoyable stay!
I booked the 2 day Spa Break. It was a 10 minute taxi ride from the train station. The Manor Hall is AMAZING, especially the Chapel and staircase to the meeting rooms. The reception ladies were friendly and informative, gave us a map and history of Crewe Hall. Melissa, in the Sheridan Bar was lovely, explained the history of the room and answered our questions. Our room was in the modern part. It was clean, but looking worn and run down. The bathroom needs touching up and the wardrobe doors squeaked loudly when opened. The two gentlemen at the Spa desk need customer service training. They did not acknowledge or greet us when we walked up to the desk. We had to speak first and ask them the procedure. Once the paperwork was completed, the Spa Lounge was nice, it definitely should be a no phone area, a lady was talking loudly on the phone when I was waiting to be called for my treatment. Not conducive to relaxing. My 75-minute treatment was exactly what I needed and was done professionally. I would definitely recommend it. The pool area was nice with the sauna, steam room, cold shower and ice. There is not enough lounge seats for the size of the pool. The Brasserie and Bar service and food were excellent. There is not breakfast buffet had a hot full English breakfast, breads, yogurt station, coffee, tea, juice, fruit, cereals and you can order additional breakfast items off the menu for additional cost like Eggs Benedict. We ate dinner there both nights and our meals were flavorful, presented well, and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the miso mushrooms on toast as a starter and the Salmon for a main. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
