St Mary’s Church
15 minute drive
St Mary’s Church is considered one of the finest medieval church's in England, and is as visually stunning as some cathedrals, such as Lincoln or Cheshire. Most visitors go to see the ornately carved ‘misericords’ – little perches' members of the clergy used in Medieval England when they couldn’t sit down.
Little Moreton Hall

You can also check out the Elizabethan-style knot garden which, despite being planted in 1972, contains many herbs and other plants that would’ve been present in the 17th century garden.
Crewe Lyceum Theatre
10 minute drive
Originally a Romam Catholic Church, Crewe Lyceum has an illustrious history. Both Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel have performed there, as well as ‘Syncopating Sandy’, a marathon piano player who played at Crewe Lyceum for 134 hours straight in 1958.
Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker
20 minute drive
Declassified in 1993 and opening in 1998, the Hack Green Nuclear Bunker is open to the public as war museum, focusing on the Cold War. Rodney Siebert, the curator of the museum, was determined to show the public exactly how the country was being defended during WWII and the Cold War.
