Use of Event Space
Crewe Hall hosts one prom group per evening. However, other events may be taking place within the hotel. We kindly ask that students remain respectful of other hotel guests at all times.

Vehicle Access, Restrictions & Parking
Only students in their arrival vehicles will be permitted through the hotel’s main iron gates to the front of the hotel, where a one-way traffic system will operate to allow for photo opportunities. Marshaling staff will be on hand to assist with directions.

Parents are required to park in the Leisure Club car park. A map with parking instructions and traffic flow details will be provided in advance and it is the school’s responsibility to communicate this information to parents.

Please note: Farm vehicles, limousines, and any vehicles exceeding 2.2 metres in height are not permitted on the driveway and will be turned away if they arrive. This restriction is in place due to the narrow access route.

Traffic Management & Supervision
Crewe Hall will provide marshals to manage traffic and arrivals. In addition, we require five school staff members to be present during arrivals to assist with managing students and parents.

A Crewe Hall team member and a designated school staff member will be assigned to five key areas to ensure a safe and smooth arrival process.

A pre-event briefing session will be held for all involved staff members prior to student arrivals. Your Event Coordinator will provide details of this meeting closer to the event date. This collaborative approach is essential to maintain safety and protect the property.

Arrival Timing
All arrival times must be strictly adhered to, as agreed with the school, to ensure a safe and organised arrival experience for all prom attendees and other hotel guests.

It is the school’s responsibility to communicate arrival times and procedures clearly to parents.

Function Room Access
Complimentary access to your event room is available from 5:30pm.

Should earlier access be required, this can be arranged for an additional fee.

Decorations and items such as balloons, table plans, and signage can be dropped off on the day with your Event Coordinator, and our team will ensure these are set up as agreed.

Student Supervision & Behaviour
School staff are responsible for monitoring student behaviour throughout the evening, including toilet supervision.

Students must remain within the designated event areas, and access to other parts of the hotel is strictly prohibited.

Crewe Hall reserves the right to check student bags and confiscate any alcohol, drugs, or prohibited items brought onto the premises.

Minimum Numbers & Event Location
All prom events are held in our Continental Suite, with a minimum contracted number of 120 students and a maximum capacity of 250 guests.

Final numbers and event details must be confirmed at least two weeks prior to the event date. Crewe Hall may request interim updates on guest numbers in the months leading up to your event to ensure proper planning
